I would like to keep it under 1,000. I like fresh water. Never had luck at beach.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I've never water hunted so I'm afraid I won't be much help to you but I know there are folks on here who will be able to help you. Dave.

Hi! The Equinox series is submersible...also does well as an all-around machine.
Good luck with your search and welcome!

I have the White's MX Sport ($800) and the Beach Hunter for salt. White's went out of business but you can still get them serviced if need be. You can find used ones everywhere ! My next choice based on price would be the At Pro. Good Luck !
Water hunting is still the Wild West as many people overlook how good these spots are ! It isn't easy hunting but very rewarding ! My best combination is a small coil with a large scoop !
Good Luck
