    Are you still detecting your properties? If so, then yes, you are spoiled I don't have one with those rays on it. They're pretty, I wonder why they took them off. SWEET FIND!!

    No this was found in a park that dates to about 1910 or so. But the area had plenty of activity starting in the early to mid 1800s.

    That really is a special seated! Since we don't ever see coins that old in my region, I was unaware of style with the rays on the reverse. I've dug one seated with arrows at the date, but it was a much later variety. Well done and congrats!

    Thanks for the comments. This is a bucket lister kind of find for me! I think I sat and stared at it for 5 minutes before I picked it up…I was 90% sure it was a seated.

    A find like this would have me smiling for a week! Huge congrats on the wonderful seated quarter with arrows and rays!

    It is encouraging to know that finds like this still exist in public parks!

    I think any seated is special but those rays definitely are cool. Nice recovery WD
