My parents used to give me a dime to make a call home if I needed to from a phone booth. You could find a phone booth on every other corner. If it rained out I would duck into one to stay dry

Now parents give the kids a cell phone..............

A dime All I had to use was a nickle lol lol lol Do phones even take coins these days crying01
Today is my day
I remember when it went from 10 to 25 cents..
Someday, I wanna be a vampire
I still don't own a cell phone but they would be handy for a road trip but I figure if an emergency came up that everyone and their brother has one so I never had a need for one. Pay phones are almost a thing of the past but there are still a few around and they cost way too much.
Yep, I remember those days
So true I've used a many of the phone from car pay phones when I was a teen a lot of the parking lots had 2 or 3 of them.
Now you just don't see them around anymore and for good reason they got to make money to keep them operating and the cell phones took that away.
Some change is good but some I'm not so sure about like the old drive in movies to me was the good ole days the kids now will never get to experience.
Ricky
I remember the days when u could actually speak with a real live human being for any customer related support/concerns
I still use them to change into my cape and tights.
