A Couple of Hunts / Got Me an 1800s "Fish Scale"

On Fathers Day, I went out with Noah for about an hour. We found an 1890s house and got a yes. Once again the coins are much newer than the house, but thats ok, I still managed a few silvers. I dug a 1942 Washington, a 1936 Merc, a1957 Rosie & a Shell token.

On Sunday, I met up with Dave again at our favorite town for some door knocking. At the first house I dug a few wheats and a 1944 merc. At the second house I started with an 1890 indian. a few minutes later I get solid 12-35 at 7 inches. I'm thinking it's going to be another indian but out comes a tiny silver coin. I thought for sure it was another Trime, but after pouring some water on it, Dave said I had a Canadian "Fish Scale". Cool, a first for me!! It was an 1896.
Before the day was over, we hit a few more houses and I dug another Indian, 2 Rosies, 27 wheats, a token and a vintage pin.
Another great day hunting with Daddy Digger!

As always it was great hunting with you Don--Thanks for the cooler of water! The fish scale was definitely the find of the day! What does the other side of the token look like? I never got to see it. Already looking forward to our next trip, HH, Dave,

p.s. You sure you dug those Indian Head Cents in Illinois? They look too rotted! LOL.
