ID:	59494Found this solid silver knee buckle today along with a tomback ? button at an early 1700's place. There was also an exciting Spanish silver found there ....but I will let the finder tell that story. I just added another photo of it after cleaning.

That was a sweet find. Can't believe the finds from this site and where it was. Yes, that button was a tombac. Slighlty larger than a cuff button.

U didn't mention your pewter spoon bowl. Kinda let readers know age of the site. And it existed until the 30's... wth.

Great looking knee buckle Kevin , solid silver ones are very hard to find ! I don't suppose there is any maker's mark stamping on the underneath or side ?

...Almost a match. This might be a match for Todd's knee buckle. Yours has a scalloped edge. Todd's and this one online have a flat edge.
