CT Copper, buttons and a double barrel ?

I'm still working a few old sites that will soon be lost to developers. They are only about 100 feet away to this site. I managed a CT copper right near the entry to the site. Maybe I was too lazy to dig this signal in the past 10 times I've been there but two pieces of iron came out of the hole before the copper did.

This CT is real brassy looking.

Managed 7 buttons. One pewter, five tombacs. That odd iron thing in the upper left was in the same hole with the CT. I think that iron piece in the upper right might be a good find actually.

    Side view:

Maybe one of these??? We'll see what it looks like after a few days in the electrolysis bucket .

Great save on the copper Jeff , I say "cook" the iron to get a better idea.

WTG on the finds before they're lost forever to the developers. Looks like you nailed the barrel. Keep us posted on how it comes out.
