Amazing Spanish coin (hint...it's the BIG one)

Visited a relative in CT this weekend who lives on an old farm with lots of land. The property is late 1700's and my relatives have lived there a very long time...I'm confident it has never been detected. Got a great signal in a field near the house and my heart nearly stopped when I saw a holed 1806 Eight Real in the hole. Only my second Spanish ever. I'm still numb.

Thanks, del. That coin was only minted until 1808 so there is no way it could be anything else but an 1806. Someone speculated that the 0 could have been used as the starter hole. Could be?
