Found the biggest ring I have ever found today and it's Silver & Gold ! #10

Oh ya !!!! Got this morning and hunted a school that I had forgotten about over the years . After a good two hours I only had clad . Then about 15 feet off the black top I had a +86 at 6 inches . Now on the MXT PRO an +86 is almost always a quarter , almost always . I dug down and saw a monster silver ring on it's side ! I pulled it out and could believe the size of it ! It is sterling with 10k gold and weighs 17.50 grams ! It is the 2nd heaviest ring I have ever found and the largest in size , a size 13 . Looks to be Celtic and has a small green stone in the middle , maybe an emerald ? That made my hunt ! The other cool old item found is a half dollar sized medal that says National Taiwan University and has a date of 1928 . Anyone have info on it ? Total clad for 3 hours was $13.05 .

INCREDIBLE ring! I have seen that design before but I can't remember where. I'm thinking it is Irish..... (one minute later) OK, I just Googled "Celtic cross with emerald ring" and found several just like yours. The emerald stone is called the "heart of the emerald isle." Great find. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
p.s. I think your ring was issued by the Franklin Mint.

Awesome ring! It's a celtic cross with a triquetra in each end. I know the symbol-it's tattooed on my arm!

What an odd looking ring. The top part where the celtic cross is looks like you should be able to open a secret door or something with it.
