Hell of a week of finds

On thursday I got out to a fresh cut hay field and was hunting with my CTX and hit a target I've wanted for a long time but realistically never thought I would get. I hit a Native American Kettle Point. I hit it at about 8-10" and it was a very tough target to hear and dig. If I hadn't been on a old site I most likely would have pasted it by. It was that bad of a signal. I'm going to have it mounted on a period correct arrow shaft for display. What a great day.

Its so nice to see these old Native American points being recovered Todd , I'm very happy for you !!These brass points sound off very well or better on the pulse machines than the VLF types . I assume your having John J. guy mount your point like his was ? please post it when you get it back sir !

Awesome find! This is unlike the ones I've seen here in the Midwest, do you know what era this Kettle Point is from and which tribe(s) produced these?
