Steve, you had a fantastic hunt. As I wondered the course Steve basically stayed on one spot, an area of about 10' by 30'. As I was getting ready to leave I worked my way over to him and he showed me where he hunted. He also said that I might be mad at what he found. At that time I believe he had 4 silvers and a bunch of wheat's. Steve I never will get mad at someones finds. He also mentioned that he adjusted an iron setting on his Equinox and things started to pop. I was so impressed with the finds that I am seriously considering an Equinox.....

Fantastic group of keepers and that seated is beautiful....

Steve, 1 iron bias setting? Where were you on the course? Looks like you are learning that machine and found a hot spot!
Sometimes at sites I hit on the correct settings and feel like it's unfair how easy it is

Go over that spot again using the other park or field setting that you didn't use...more stuff should hit! CONGRATS!

Actually Drew I stayed in that grass strip in the pines where Al said you hit some silver. My thinking was if I slowed down and went to Iron bias 0 perhaps I could eek out more coins that were masked after the hard hitting signals were gone. It's how I hunt parks. As far as the silvers went 5 were "iffy" signals that took allot of isolating with small one inch swings.

Old maps show a house once stood close to the club house. Most of the old coins came from this area.
