Ring #55 is GOLD ! Also a little silver found

Got out twice the last two days . Yesterday my son Carson and I hunted a older school field hoping for some deep silver . No silver found but Carson did find a 1957 wheat cent and found a 1919 large penny from England . I also found a cool old button with a skier on it . Then this morning , Monday , we hunted a school that I had not been back to in two years . Today we were hoping for gold ! After both of us digging a bunch of clad I got a nice +20 at 4 inches . This time it wasn't a nickel but a sweet 14k GOLD RING ! It weighs 4.9 grams and is a beauty ! Looks like it has Mother Mary on it . Then the silver came . I had a +80 at 7 inches and it turned out to be a silver 1949 S Rosie . We had a great time this weekend , lots of super finds .

Just curious how many pull tabs do you generally dig each hunt? I only have found gold (5) rings) when I dig nickel signals. I usually pass over gold signals just because of the amount of can slaw and pull tabs I pull up.

I dig a lot of junk to get the gold . I know it sucks digging slaw and pull tabs but if you don't you won't find as much gold . Gold will come in as low as 0 vdi on my Whites MXT PRO .
