EPIC 5 Hour Hunt Today / 9 Silver day ( Seated, Barbers , Walkers, Indians )

I met up with Noah today to hunt a town that I've never hunted before. We didn't start swinging until noon. We got a yes at the first house we tried. In the first 20 minutes, I dug a 1903 Barber dime and an Indian spill, an 1894 & 1883. I also dug an old button with a flower design.
After that, I moved to the side of the house and my first target was an 1891 Seated dime.
Man, It can't get any better than this. Wrong!
I moved to the back of the house and dug another 1903 Barber dime. A few minutes later I got a deep high tone that was jumping all over the place 12-41 up to 12-48. I had a hard time pinpointing it due to a bunch of iron in the ground. I finaly got to it about 9 inches down and under a root. A 1902 Barber Half. A few minutes later I get another Indian spill, a 1903 & 1906.
We hit another house across and I dug a 1924 Merc.

On the way home we stopped at one more house in the next town. ( I really wanted to dig a Rosie for my first ever dime grand slam). My first target was a 1939 merc. My second target was a bouncy 12-48. I turned over the plug an there was Walker sitting there, Awesome!! ( It gets better ) I reswept the hole and I still have a high tone. I pull out ANOTHER Walker and a 1945-S war nickel.
I only dug 2 clad Quarters, one Jefferson and 3 memorials all day. ( and a bunch of junk)

No, seriously. INCREDIBLE hunt! I'm not sure which is my favorite, the Seated Dime or the Barber Half.

The Seated Dime was brand new when it was dropped. It has amazing detail left on it! It even has the ridges around the edge of the rims which it always the first thing to wear off. It is the less common "O" mint mark variety too. I wouldn't be surprised if it's MS-60 which would put it in the $175 range value-wise.

The two Walkers and War Nickel is a wonderful coin spill! What a thrilling day this must have been for you!

Congratulations Don on one of your best days ever! I must say I'm a bit jealous too! I don't remember anyone getting 3 halves in one day either. Thanks for sharing and HH Dave.

good. We probably should’ve stayed a little longer at that house! But then again, Don would not have gotten the half dollars bill if we had stayed. But anyways we will be going back for sure. Again Don you the man! next time save me at least one silver.

Darn Don! 3 silver halves! I dig a pretty good amount of silver and I have not dug a silver half since 2015! You find them like I find wheaties!

I think the best find is that 1891 seated with the New Orleans mint mark. Very awesome!

Hope you find a couple more Indians before hibernation.

What a disappointment Don - no Rosie? Wow! Just an incredible day for you and one you wont forget. You consistently post great finds, but this hunt has to rank up there with your best ever. Congrats sir.
p.s. can't wait to see the video edits
