Hello to all from south MS. I've enjoyed reading the different topics here. I hope to read many more. I purchased an AT Pro a few months back, still getting the hang of it but getting better. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Hi Brian! Welcome from Illinois!

Glad you found us here! There are lots of interesting topics on American Detectorist, for sure.

The AT Pro is a very popular machine and many people have great success with it. Pretty much every detector takes some time to get the hang of.

Best of luck!

Hey Brian and welcome from mid Mo. :waving: I swing the AT Pro, and it took some getting use to and after 9 months, I'm still learning. Practice-Practice-Practice
One thing I did notice with this mach. was I could hit signals 10-12 inches down :shocked03: I went visiting my wifes family in Scotland a few months back, and I was almost striking oil. It must of been since the ground was sooooo wet, the signal can travel farther :thinkingabout: Any ways, good hunting to ya, and can't wait to see them pic's of your finds, thumbsup01 Eric

Welcome from Kentucky :groovy: Hope to see some pics and hear some good stories :) A couple friends here in Ky have done very well finding CW relics w/their AT Pros.

What type hunting do you prefer? I really enjoy old homesites-- the more crumbling, dilapidated w/ vines crawling through the broken windows, the better lol I like relics but it sure is exciting to find coins w/a date  Or relics with some sort of writing to be able to easily research...
