Hi all,
This past Thursday, I secured permission to hunt the Brady House which was built in 1870. :clapping: Now, they use this area for an annual Steam Engine Show. Hunted it for a couple of hours and the only coins where three wheaties. But was able to find a pistol which del help I.D. as a A.E. Prescott manufacturer made between 1860-1867. The handle was made out of brass and the barrel is steel. Can't wait to hunt this area again. I was told it's been hunted hard already, but we all know that doesn't matter much. Good hunting everyone and thanks again del. thumbsup01

Thanks again Dan. Another great I.D. on the Brono-Seltzer thumbsup01 I looked them up, and since the top did not have a screww lid type, it was hand blown and they used a cork, which makes this made between 1890-1915. Here's a blown up pic.
Good hunting Dan and thanks again.

Hey thanks aloldstuff. I've read it a few times now, that the best place to metal detect is where some one else has found some thing. And that has held true ever since I started this exciting hobby.
Thanks there HEAVYMETALNUT & you are so right. I don't have but 2 bullets, 1 button and now this pistol to put in the case, but that's just more insentive to get out there and find MORE. |:cheering:. Good hunting guys, thumbsup01
