got out Sunday to a old home i had permission to hunt.no 1800's coins which is suprising for a 1820 home.only means one thing...yard had a lot of fill brought in.The owner stopped by during the day and we got to talking.he said oh yeah my Dad did alot of earth moving in the 40's to this yard
I did pretty well despite that sad news.no date SLQ,a silver whashington & silver rosie.a 3 coin pocket spill of 2 silver war nickels and a 1929 buffalo sandwiched in the middle.22 wheaties, some clad & a religious medal and a ton of junk!

22 wheats is one heck of a yard, not to mention getting yourself 5 silvers and a buff. That is one yard that I would be hitting again. :congrats:

|:cheering: Hey nothing wrong with that hunt. You did well and you ate your Wheaties too. :wow:

That's the thing about old houses. You never know sometimes if someone else has detected it yet or if like you said, alot of the dirt was moved around. The main thing is you did some Meta; Detecting and you have plenty to show for it. Just because there not real old doesn't mean you might have a key date or even an Error coin in the bunch.
Congrats !
