Hi,My name is Jason I live in Jefferson City,TN. Love to detect be into it for about around 10 years. Im an EX-Police Officer that became disabled about five years ago so as of about 8 weeks been detecting alot every day about. My DR. said I need to be moving around more so I started back detecting. I bought a White's MXT PRO at first because I had had three other one's but was not happy. So I just got me a Minelab E-Trac and not have had it out side because I don't have a clue on this detector. I have read and read but Im a person that needs to be shown one time and then Iv got it. So Im looking for a good buddy to hunt with and have a good time. I don't drink, smoke or drug's just like to put that out there. So if you live close and want to hunt I have alot of places we can go and together we can find more. You can call or text at 865-253-0595 Thanks
Hello and welcome Jason , the e-trac is a great machine right out of the box with no tweaking and i'm sure you'll be finding good stuff in no time . i think we have atleast a couple of members near you and hope you can hook up with a few to hunt with . its always more enjoyable to share the experience and finds with a friend . glad you joined.

The ET is a very nice machine. You'll find lots of tips, tricks, and other stuff in our detector forums.

Yeah you're going to love that etrac. I'd watch loads of vids to help learn the machine, and of course, lots of swinging. Welcome! :waving:
