Hello all,

Just stumbled onto this forum while searching for a certain coil. Been digging for awhile, 12 years or so since I got my first real machine, a DiPro. It's been 35 years, though, since I built one with my father, one of those Heathkits. Didn't find much with it, of course, but the seed was planted. I live in Northern Va., a place that was once a Mecca for diggers. Unfortunately, I got started too late. Seems everything has been developed/paved over now. I currently use an E Trac, with an MXT backup. I look forward to seeing great finds and learning as much as possible from you folks.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Great site. I'll post up a couple of my 2013 finds as soon as I find get some spare time from the kids.
Dan, I'll be back up to Ct the week before Easter. If the snow's gone, I'd love to do some more digging. I found a bunch of cellar holes last time I was up but had to leave before I could explore them. With my luck, they've probably been hit hard.
