I think this is the fewest targets i ever dug in one outing :embarrassed: I did get excited at the ox knob signal! elbows Drew :poke: my find of the day is a toasted Connecticut civil war button.i think 5 coppers were dug outta 50 people (todd got one of em).targets were sparse to say the least but,was nice to finally meet a few of the guys on the forums.saw some old faces & met some new ones.

Dave , it doesn't seem to be a lot of research spent on this place ( very few finds to show for it ) , pretty short notice before the hunt (i only heard about it maybe a couple of months ago) , and no prizes for the best finds :thinkingabout: :thinkingabout: Mr. Burr has been loosing a lot of his credibility on his last couple of hunts he has sponsored , this one seems to be on par with the last few . maybe we should host a nice hunt soon , i'm sure we could do a better job .

Maybe we can make these rewards for the best finds prizes [attachimg=1][attach=2] ;) Great idea though Dan, I bet it would be epic if you ever organized one |:cheering:

lol lol I know Dave has a few exyra Gw's he can kick in for prizes right GW man??

Todd , ask George .I've been rolling around the idea for a bit but i'll tell you what i wouldn't be doing it to line my pockets . to get decent places for detectorists to hunt with good opportunities to find old coins and relics . The land owner's deserve a huge preportion of the money as do nice prizes for the ones of best finds found.

Sign me up Dan!! thumbsup01

I think the landowner did get a huge chunk of the money at the cash bash, I don't think any one of the coordinators walked away with a big haul! I won the 50/50 and the minelab backpack, found a musket ball and an ox knob <: so I probably walked away with the biggest haul!
