I have been MDing since the end of May of this year and been having a blast. I have been very lucky finding very interesting finds in locations that I would not expect to find them. When I get the chance I will total up my finds so far and put them on a post. Didn't think that I was doing all that good, but now seeing a lot of the post on the site I see that I'm not doing that bad. Good luck to all and be safe, HH. timewarpdigger :)

hello timewarpdigger, I, too, am brand new to both MDing and forum reading/watching. I just started MDing less than a month ago and I am totally addicted to "hunting". Right now it is all I think about and talk about to whomever will listen! Sick, huh! But really, I'm enjoying reading and then applying what I've learned, and always looking for that perfect ground to hunt. I can't wait to meet others that have the same sense of enthusiasm as I do. To date, I've dug up about 50 lbs of "ground junk", about 8 bucks in loose change, a few trinkets (rings, charms, cub scout scarf slider) and my oldest find is a 1819 coin and a 1903 dime.

I am like you in that I am always looking to find time for the next hunt, but not enough time in the day it seems. Learning to do my homework and have more success where I hunt. Most people I work with think I'm crazy, but they seem to have become more interested when they found out about some of the finds I've had. Looking forward to the spring and will be better prepared and hope for even more amazing finds. Good luck and HH!!!
