Coil wiring

Wound up the shaft clockwise or counter clockwise?

Does it make a heck of a difference? I've read claims to both being better than the other.

the important thing is not to have loose slack in the cable wire as it can give you false signals from the wires movement.

The location of the coil connector might make one direction better than the other as far as kinking or snagging on brush. I know on the AT Pro it makes a difference.

It doesn't matter. As others point out, it often becomes an issue of convenience based on the location of the receptacle on the box. :)

Now, we need some pseudo-science to tie the wrap direction to your hemisphere; the rotation of the earth; the direction of the whirlpool spin in your bathtub; and whether you're left or right handed. :lol:
