Pretty cool. That is a great beach. You can drive on it for miles & miles! Thanks for the story.

That's an exceptional find. Almost makes me wonder what I have passed on when I do not dig buried iron.

Here in New York any thing found in the ground that is older than 50 years is an artifact and belongs to the state. I guess all those wheat pennies I have dug up do not really belong to me.

If it were me and the State is the owner, the state would be digging it up as well.
