Hello folks....
I have been detecting on and off since 78. Started out with Bounty Hunters in California when I was in the AF. Never real serious or had the time to do a lot of detecting. Now retired and still working I have the time to detect...Sometimes! :) Use the Etrac now, stock coil, 6" sunray and the 15x18 nel. 705 backup and a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 202 that I enjoy taking out. I've been coin shooting local area's and I'm now plotting some civil war areas. Any local folks (100 miles) want a partner let me know, although my work has some crazy hours I may get a few weekends off now and then....:)
Great site.....

Welcome from Illinois! :waving:
We're glad you joined us here, Dan! It sounds like you have a lot of experience under your belt. I bet you have made some interesting finds over the years. I see that you are down there by Sikeston. Of course we have to stop and eat at Lambert's any time we're in that area.
Welcome to American Detectorist!

Welcome to the forum. Your story is similar to mine. 24 years as a USAF weather forecaster. Retired in 2003 and now also have an e-trac. Looking forward to seeing your finds. Lots of good advice and ideas here at American Detectorist. HH, Dave.
