Found at Colonial Site..Dragon design?

Found this at a colonial site today and I am really not sure what it is...? Powder Flask? Scabbard? Probably not but any help would be great!:thumbsup01:

I would guess that it's a match safe. You can see the hinge for the lid, and the match striking surface on the bottom. Very cool find!

Good call Tony. I have actually seen one of these before (on another forum I think) and a match case is exactly what it is.
