Invited Dave Wise (https://www.facebook.com/dave.wise.397) & Todd Hiltz (https://www.facebook.com/todd.hiltz.9) up to do some hunting at a cellar hole that I had researched over the week. We hiked our butts off getting to the first site but it was worth it! There I found my oldest coin, a toasty William III, and also a 1744 King George II. Also got a 3 buttons, two tombacs, and one early 1700's button with a drilled shank.

Two nice oldies. Congrats! Good hit on the button with the drilled shank. Don't see many of those.

Nice finds. That KG almost looks clipped. Odd way to do so. Nothing wrong with being able to ID a copper that old.
