Hi all,
Going through my finds pouch from my last hunt at the cellar hole right before the deep freeze I was finally able to clean up the finds. Funny place as it seems to be a clock graveyard. I found my third set of clock frames here.

I also got around to cleaning up a piece I had thought was probably a pipe fitting, only to find a set of patent dates in 1871. I was able to track it down as only one set of dates matched. Thus was the original patent on April 18 and a reissue later on Aug 29. The patent is for a cooking stove by George W. Walker of Boston Ma.

Today I got out for maybe a half hour to the old 1850s field. Not much but junk and an old copper piece that may have been a lid to something.

Hoping to get back out to this field if the weather holds, otherwise I may hit the beach new years day after the polar bear plunge. GL&HH
