Hunted 2 1850's farms, one was a cellar pit and was a button bonanza plus need help on a cool lion pin feels heavy like lead. And another sterling 1911 spoon. Also a neat knife handle close to where I found my first and only large cent which was cut on an previous hunt.58393583925839458395 Could use some help on the lion pin with any history couldn't find one like it on the web:confused:5839758396 an extra rich supper fine gentelman's button I think 1830s to 1850s possibly? 5839858399 This one feels like a lead button? 5840058401584025840358404 six of the buttons were found in the same general area along with the knife 58405

I've been drooling over quite a few very old looking homes/farms in your area and out towards Mukwonago on Hwy 20. So many look early to mid 1800s, which would coincide with being on the old military road at the time. Really need to get better at asking permissions! Lol

You got several interesting finds there Mike. Nice collar pin. WW1 I think? Don't know what to make of that lion brooch, if that's what it is. I hope it can be ID'd. That copper is very odd looking. Not sure if it was fire damaged or perhaps even a counterfeit. Cool find.

Congrats on some nice finds Mike. One piece buttons definitely date the site from the 1820-1850s era. Good luck on ID'ing the lion pin. Can't provide much help for you on that one.
