Fort Field - My Oldest Coin?

March 12 & 26, 2017 – The Fort Field saw much military and civilian activity from the 1600’s through the mid 1800’s. The 47 acre field has been detected for 40+ years proving that no property is ever hunted out. I believe that I found my oldest coin. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Never saw a musket ball spill in which they were connected...very cool. I have to agree with you about the coin....great find.

Thanks Al - they are actually fused together, not frozen like I originally thought. I find a lot of musket balls and that was a first for me. I wonder if it was part of buckshot from a cannon?
