need some help

I've been doing good detecting with my etrac but now there seems to be a small problem , seems that I get a lot of 1-38 numbers this started a couple of months ago. I don't remember this many 1-38 numbers I mean all the time. if anyone has any ideas please respond.

How often do you clean under your coil cover?

How old is your coil? The coil on my E-Trac went bad after 6 years of frequent use. I was getting constant erratic signals and noises. A new coil fixed the problem. If you have an alternate coil try swapping it out and see if it still happens.

I've yet to clean under my cover i'll try that if that don't work Tony Two-Cents thinks it might be the coil. The unit is about 1 1/2 yrs old
