Hi all,
Well, it's certainly tougher than I even thought to find anything. Talking with the ranger at the museum, I was giving some pointers where to hunt. Still nothing real good, but I am obviously getting to the deepest layer of the beach since I'm hitting the fishing weights. First pic is of the finds so far, the rest is of the museum depicting the lost 1715 fleet. The museum also keeps a book of the finds they they know about. Beach finds are few and far between. The last coin was found in December.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/b7850c179583f65e48bd6cb187132251.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/187054422b58d4b43e59457d7d5950c1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/000543faa46649032a294f7263bfb6f6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/909076070481e498b35c5ec4226242fb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/f869c506617da6f0beb9c5ea681dfb4d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/2a69789b91334c05667e406e2d038de8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180506/ec416898b9cf53aebff8f1b1ca17ee9c.jpg

Great post !! Glad to see you're getting to the lowest layers . I'm still confident you're going to find some shipwreck goodies . Great photos and info on the museum items .I was especially blown away by the Bar Shot I didn't know such a thing existed .When it comes to destruction and mayhem you can't beat the good , old Homo Sapiens .Best of luck and keep up the good work . I'm looking forward to seeing more about your ongoing adventure .:thumbsup01:

Thanks CT! Stuck in tonight with storms, so was trying to do video work. But for some reason my phone now won't recognize the video camera memory card.

Thanks for the update. The info from the museum is great. Are you able to get out into the water? I read somewhere that most jewelry is lost in the the 1st 10 feet of entering the water. Seems the body shrinks...

Unfortunately the laws here are not favorable for water detecting. Everything is leased from the low tide line to 1 1/2 miles out. Big trouble if you're caught detecting the water!
