Hi all,
Got another video out including a slide show of Mel Fischer's museum. Seemed to be half museum and half shrine, but still a lit of fun! Even did the "gold bar lift"! The last photo is a quote that I think are the most true words said about us treasure seekers.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180509/3f291dbd61f823275cf45134a2a3286b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180509/d3891928168c0a791ca73f24eb9d73f0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180509/e0d54195163b9ba0f88543e7ad3d3aee.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180509/d89bca59af5b3c871c760ec23cfa1987.jpg

Thanks Dan! Yes, I'm having a blast- more detecting opportunities than I can probably hit in a lifetime. People I've chatted with were so nice too. One beach actually formed a short line of curious folks, so I ended up doing a Q&A session for about 45 minutes.
Another possibility I found out about is possibly becoming a subcontractor for the company who holds the water leases and has the recovery permits. That would give me access to dive and detect the wreck sites, and I would get 40% of any finds. ( the company also gets 40%, state gets 20%). Yes, I could see myself retiring down here working the wrecks in season, and working at one of the museum's part time the rest of the year. A much better option than supplementing my retirement income be greeting people and saying "Welcome to Walmart-get your s**t and get out!" :hystericallaugh:
