Old Copper ????

Found this today at my favorite copper field.

I put the dime in for size reference. I have taken pictures of both sides plus rotating 180 degrees.

Looks very old, copper and I can make out some letters.

They are (maybe) ART and D2.

Really need some help here.

it says Liard De France , most likely a 1600's era coin Al ! congratulations 6624666247There is some variations in the type of bust that could narrow down a date range .

Thanks everybody. This is my second Liard but I'm pretty sure that I will not be getting a date off of this one. I think my other one was a 1657.
