This may have happened to you but the wife has been giving me grief about going metal detecting "too much." Well, this morning I was getting ready to go out and hopefully find some awesome relics and I see a note taped to my detector. It says "This isn't working anymore." Right away a million things are going through my mind. What does this mean for the future? As if I don't have enough stress in my life and now I have to deal with this too?

But the story has a happy ending. I turned on my detector and it seems to be working just fine! Whew! Crisis averted.
