Grandson's First Hunt

My daughter took my grandson out for his first hunt today. They used the pinpointer I gave him and a spade. She asked him what he wanted to find and he said, "a coin AND a chain." Attaboy!!!
He didn't find anything. I told his mom, "using a pin pointer to metal detect the earth is like trying to find a needle in 50 haystacks." :lol:. I guess its time for a Go Find and some seeded hunts.

I was showing a daughter of a friend of mine how to detect when she was 4. We gave her the pinpointer and threw out some clad around the yard. She had a blast. Almost everyday she would ask dad when the metal detecting guy was coming over.
