Vlad & Carol, the owners of Friendly Metal Detecting Forum think it could be a couple of weeks before they can rebuild everything.
They are trying to save as much data as they can so as little as possible is lost.

You ain't kidding , changes the whole vibe of that forum and I'm not sure for the better IMHO.

Yeah, It's a whole new look! Takes some getting used to, but I am liking it better the more I use it

Vlad went from the vBulletin platform to one called XenForo. As I understand it I guess one of the lead guys at vB left there and started XenForo.

The Friendly forum seems to be down again and has been since at least yesterday. I'm not sure how long it has been down. It says "Host Error".
