Neat little watch winder

I found this watch winder on my recent trip to Germany. The top part still swivels too. I've not seen one like this before. Any ideas? Thanks and happy digging, Dave.

I wondered the same thing. At first, I thought it was a tree next to the house, but it looks more like a crop (out of scale to the house). The house looks Dutch to me.
