These are my last finds of 2010 wish it could have been the start of 2011 oh well. I started off searching the woods behind my house. The area I was in was once a corn field and I decided to start at the edge of the field by an old oak tree. I got a signal showing a quarter dime penny iron my tector was freaking out on me. I am hoping this was not a false signal so I dig down about six inches. Still cannot find whats down there so out comes the dx. I pulled out what i thought was a piece of lead boy was I surprised. It was lead alright a three ringer civil war bullet. Man my heart all most jumped out of my shirt. I have read about people finding these but never in a million years that I would. I found some common clad and some thing of a ma jigs. And also what looks like a civil war bullet looks as tho it has been melted some what. H.H.

Nice 3 ringer :happydance01: It pays to dig those iffy signals. With my DFX, I found a lot of good targets while digging those fringe, iffy targets.

Howdy Pardner!
I only have one civil war bullet that I got as a prize from a competition hunt in Missouri.
We didn't have much civil war activity in Colorado.

Sometimes I envy you guys back east with fertile fields for relic hunting.
But then again, I look back on my gold finds and it eases the pain! LOL!

Way to go on a terrific hunt amigo!

Blessings,
M-Taliesin
