At coin roll hunting  Boredom has certainly set in. I was at the bank yesterday and asked the rep if they had any halves. He said someone just brought in 6 rolls on Thursday. I passed on them but today went back and got them. Out of 120 coins, Just 1 silver clad  A 1968 D. Well, that was fun

That's more luck than I had. My bank didn't have any halfs at all when I asked.
One's better than none . thumbsup01
Congrats

Not really too bad for the amount you searched. It really can go either way and everything in between for that endeavor.
But... if you can't be digging holes, it's the next best thing. :happydance01:
Congrats on the silver Steve. :clapping:

I think he should travel the country and dig a SMALL hole, drop in a half in the yard of the peeps on the forum :clapping: . Then we could go searching in the snow. Except for Cliffy   :clapping: . Ops I forgot.... :behave: you can't dig in Minnesota this time of year.

ya got one .... i know how you can get rid of those . come on down and see me and while your here you can throw em in my yard :poke:
I finally got to the banks in town and got some halves. I got three full rolls at one bank that had no silver in them. I also asked if they had loose halves. The big bank in town sold me $20.00 of loose halves and i saw one i knew was silver. After looking at the bunch of loose ones i had two 1967 and two 1968. I'll see if i can get more there tomorrow. I don't want to be a pest.

Congrats on the successful CRW Steve thumbsup01 I've never found a 90% silver like that but I found 2 of the 40% ers.
Got $60.00 worth again today. Found one 1968. They still won't tell me how many they have! The teller did ask if i had an account and i said i don't know (my wife had one through her flower shop at one time). But she asked the manager, who said it was o.K.
I think i'll wait awhile before i go back again.
