Hello,
I just started detecting again about a week or so ago. I used to detect when I was 9, with an old Radio Shack kids detector. It sure is different now, then when I was 9. But still having a blast. Best find so far was a silver necklace. Otherwise a lot of clad. No silver coins, or gold yet :/ Still learning the ropes so to speak. I'm sure I will have a lot of questions in the next few weeks.

Hey Coinstar, welcome aboard. I started at around 11 years old myself and had a Radio Shack too lol Heathkit amplifier put on it rofl Glad you found us and hope to see some of your finds. There are a lot of veteran detectorists here, so have a look around and ask questions if you have some.

Howdy Pard!
Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to hang your hat here.
I sometimes do a bit of detecting myself. Even find something now and then.
It is a real rewarding hobby, and fun too!
Jump right in and keep your coil to the soil!

Welcome Coinstar,

Looks like you got a nice detector F4 to start with. I hear those are real good.
