Today I decided to do a little spring cleaning at the shop. I threw all the scrap metal and old batteries in the dump truck and drove it over to the scrap metal place around the corner. I ended up getting $248.60 When he handed me the cash I saw the silver right away. I dropped off old rusty steel and drove away with some silver happydance02
yes we detectorists can spot the silver coins right away in a crowd of clad , it doesn't take long to master that gift. very cool Steve

Cool, no detector needed. :peace: I saw a wheat penny, date side down in a tip jar the other day . I wanted to reach in to see the date, then I figured that would not go over to well. \:hammer:
