Back into detecting after several years away. Started in 77 with a Whites, had a couple since and just decided to buy a V3i. Wow lots have changed in technology but I still do like my first Coinmaster and will still use it for quick checks for areas I want to hunt. Look forward to the hints and tips and enjoying being back out again. From southwest virginia, so if anyone around this area give me a yell.

hello Chief and welcome to the forum , Virginia is a great historic area to be in with is Civil War , Revolutionary War and War of 1812 activity it is truely a relic hunters paradise :daydream: . glad to have you with us ;)

Welcome aboard from western Mass. Glad to see another veteran pick up their machine again. I started in the 70's also and yes, machines have changed a lot. But the thrill of finding relics and coins in the ground has not lol Nice to have you here.
