I am trying to help a friend ID this item from a construction site in the Midwest. It is two inches in diameter.

It kinda looks like the Union Pacific emblem. :dontknow:

I thought of that also, but I could not find anything indicating how long the Union Pacific symbol has been around. This looks pretty old to me. We are thinking it is a hat or visor cap pin. I think it might be 1876 centennial related since there are 13 stars and stripes. Thanks Tim!
