The only nickels with any silver in the are the war nickels 1942-1945. You can tell them from the other nickels because the mintmarks are over the building on the back of the coin. P for Philedelphia, &quot:grin: for Denver and S for San Francisco.

some 1942's with no mintmark on the back above building are also not silver.
