First for me today...an iron shoe buckle. It's small and has a distinctive tongue, not like a fork, with a pot belly chape. Was a consistent splattery tone 80s all ways. I thought it might be a brass D buckle with iron tongue. Thanks!

I found this quite a while back. Don't recall what it was used for, or if its colonial. It's not rectangular like a knee buckle and its too small for a shoe buckle. Any ideas? Happy New year!

My D2 was shouting iron grunts and 90, all ways. The XY screen showed a combination of ferrous ad non-ferrous. I dug what I thought was an ox shoe or some such. I immediately saw the large cent. I was bummed as I couldn't believe my program was telling me large iron when it was a LC. Scanned...

Could these be that old...like from the 1600s? I found those, a pole cap, cuff button, and a shotgun shell, then after 45min my coil was going to run out of juice. :girlcry:
