I'm on Vacation at Myrtle Beach brought my Ace 150 with me I've went in early morning around 5am and went very briefly last night I have never been beach detecting looking for some tips:cheesysmile:

Went yesterday for about an 1 hour and 30 minutes found 2 Wheaties a 40 and a 57, 3 Indians all 1800's 1895,1893,1887 my first token, a cub scout badge, a flattened penny and a 1916 Mercury dime too bad it wasn't a D mint but very happy to have it. :happydance02:

I also found in the same yard a 1864 Indian with a hole through it pretty cool so I guess that would be my oldest coin :)

Ok im a little excited about my hunt this evening I first found a couple wheat pennies then I got a good hit at about 6" so I dug it of course lol pulled up the plug and in the hole looked to be another Wheatie but to my surprise it was a 1907 Indian I couldn't believe it I actually thought it...

I got permission from a friend to come hunt his house he lives on main st in my town which was founded in 1803 so I went tonight for about 45min and im so glad I did I found a 1954 D Roosevelt Dime and a 1945 Wheatie I was in awe I know its just a Rosie to some but its a milestone for me :yahoo: HH

its about 1 1/2 inches long dug it by an old tree not far from a ring I found any clue??

I cleaned it up looks all shiny still couldn't find any markings.....thanks everyone for all the tips and congrats :grin:

Found my first ring yesterday morning at the old park by my house dug it by an old tree thinks its pretty old happy to check off another first :cheesysmile:
