I finally got permission to hunt a summer church camp yesterday,thought I would go out this morning and take some pic. of the place and do some hunting,and wouldn't you know it first time in weeks we had a rain storm little over an inch and much needed,quit raining about 10 o-clock so I went...

I am feeling better so I had to try it out there,I went out to the old 1850's church where I found the 2 center and seated Quarter,I lasted only about a half hour and had to quit. I found 3 IH 1865-1890 and 1905 also a bit of junk,not quite ready for this + it was hot out there.think I will wait...

UPDATE as you all know I was giving up detecting due to health reasons,but I did go and see a different Dr. got a blood test and was told this big long word I can't say or spell but in lamon terms I was short on Iron and potassium,so I started taking pills for both it's been a week and a half...

guess I will know tomorrow when I see the Dr. and see the tests findings,I may have to give up detecting, when I get down I have to have help getting back up.started detecting in 1962 almost 50 years ago and I can say I've found my share over the years but now it is a lot different.in 3 hours...

GOLD Went on vacation to FL. and on the way home I stoped in GA. and done some gold panning for about two hours and found $117.50 worth of gold,lot of work doing that but it was fun and worth it..thanks for looking and HH.

I broke down and bought myself a 6x10 coil for my M6,I found out that it is one sweet coil,took it out to a 1850's church that I have hunted many times,but one little patch of grass in the front size is about 10x10' it was so trashy I would never hunt it so I gave that coil a try and it pulled...

for you M6 users,how would you compare a 6x10 coil to a standard 950 coil that comes on it ?
