Hello All, Been out quite a bit this summer, but just have not had the time to make many posts. I continue to hit the sidewalk and street tearouts, and this week was a pretty good one. These are the good finds from about 5 hours worth of hunting this week.

I hunted a two block section of street and sidewalk tearout on Milwaukee's southside in a 1930's neighborhood on Monday 6/9 and found a bunch of wheats and my first Franklin half. Strangest thing, I found a crushed alum can two feet away then bam, another big signal, thought it was another can...

A friend of mine found this copper at a site over the weekend. This site has produced coins from the 1830's and 1840's and relics in to the late 18th Century. They believe this site to be a possible late Fur Trade era site. The coin measures 21mm in diameter. Please let me know if you see...

These buttons are from a site my uncle and I are pursuing to MDetect. These buttons were dug out of the ground at two excavation sites on this property. Please help me with a date if you can from what is pictured. This site had possible military activity as early as the 1820's. Thanks!

Got out for a few short hunts the past two days at a few of the remaining street projects. Found some wheat cents, a small bottle, 1904 V Nickel, and an 1896IH, plus some misc finds.

The latest project that I have had my eye on has been a bit of a dissappointment. The sidewalk beds are filled and lined with a load of coal clinkers, fill and just nasty iron infested dirt.....quite frankly the worst I have ever seen! Nonetheless I have made it out and found a few old coins. So...

Last hunt to the ballfield project before they finish grade and seed. Found this in a pile of dirt dug up from digging a fence post for the new ballfield. Definitely looks to be the size of a quarter, but man is it worn thin! I am hoping to get just a small detail once the sulfide comes off.

Can anyone shed any light on this pin? It is about 2 inches by 1 inch high. Found by my uncle today at an old school.
