Nice looking coin, Del! You did a really good job of cleaning it and keeping the patina intact. I'm not familiar with those type of buttons. What date range do they fall in?

The coin was in pretty good shape to begin with but i tried a different method to take off the green , the buttons range is from anywhere of the last quarter of the 18th century to maybe 1815 neither have a backmark .Dan

That 1825 Large Cent turned out really well, Dan! You can see that the outer patina was going to flake off but what was underneath was well-preserved. Nice!

Pretty sharp Matron Dan. Nice when the still have some meat left on the bones. Yeah I don't think you dry cleaned that copper with a toothpick and an Andre pencil. :-) What secret sauce did you use? Nice button too. Don't find many like that.
