1786 baby head VT copper

  • Don Hartman Well Dave, no wonder I had to say UNCLE, it is not a CT copper at all.........How about a 1785 Baby Head Vermont Ryder 9. That would be the third Baby Head found by members of this group this year, I found one in January, Neil found one earlier I believe it was this month and now yours...................There is general agreement amongst the C4 collectors as to it being the Baby Head..............

  • Don Hartman Enjoy doing it for the most part, this one was getting me a bit frustrated, at least I found out why! The individual who suggested Baby Head, said the shape of the shoulders is what keyed him to it being a VT Baby Head, they are different shape if you compare with CT copper. Dave, I did post that you said THANKS for the ID......




 
Nice. I think Dan found one of those before too. Nice to see there are people out there that can ID a morsel of a copper:lol:

Only the latest post remains able to be edited by the user posting it, but once someone makes another post, it locks that function.

There was a time limit set of 5 minutes for posts. We need some kind of limit to prevent unwanted editing. We have not decided on what that limit may be, but you can always get one of us to make changes for you.
