2 REALES! Lots of other coins!

I had some things to attend to this morning so I couldn't go out with the boys... but staying nearby paid off! I was able to get a 3 hr hunt in and found a hot spot! I didn't leave a 20-yard area :shocked01: ...and I have to say it was kinda chilly :frozen: just standing there digging coins
This dirt looked like it had been undisturbed since colonial times...no roots either:thumbsup01:

1910,1920,1944 wheats
1863 Indian
1800 2 Reales (bucket lister)
1961 Rosie
2nd Shirley President clip from this site.
Round thing with numerous patent dates from the 1910s

The reales isn't from Mexico City so I have to figure out where it was made. Thanks!

Awesome finds Drew! Man, what a spot and range of history. Mintmark looks like Lima, Peru if I'm not mistaken. Any ideas on the round thingy? I found something similar last week (didn't post a pic) and I think it's an old coaster. Congrats as always.

Thanks guys! John here are some pics of the round thing. It is almost the size of a rosette....and thanks for the Lima info!

Hey Drew,

It's the back part of a Depollier Waterproof Watch, which were quite popular back in the early part of the 20th century. There were several models made so not sure which model yours went to. Here's a link to an old add. Patent dates match up exactly.

Mega congrats on the 2 real Drew , be honest I bet you were shocked it was a bit larger than a modern quarter huh ??

Thanks everyone, you know Dan, I wrongly assumed it was a half dollar equivalent because of its size, but I guess the 8 reales is a dollar...those things must be huge!!!
