Anniversary Hunt

Today is our 29th anniversary so I had no intention of hunting. I took my wife out for dinner last night and presented her with a gift. Today after lunch she said she was going shopping with our daughter...so off I went.
Results-

1917 Merc
Dandy with gold color still on it
Delicate small buckles
Plumb bob
Rein guard
Musket
Tombac
Ox knob
Drawer plate

Drew , what is the small round buckle made of ?? any picture of the reverse??

Here is the back, it was a solid 77 on a 100 scale.

Yep, I guess it is silver as I just bench tested it and it rang up 79, the merc bench tested at 81. The buckle was a 77 in the ground.

Drew it looks like its a native American Fur trade ring brooch , they were usually made of thin silver.

Did you nick the merc? When I pulled up that link Dan posted, I had thought it was the same pic.. until I went back to your pic and saw it was different. doh! Nice find. Is it just me or is there something on the ring next to where the tongue pivots? I thought anniversary from title meant that it was like last year... where there was a group hunt. It's supposed to be a mild day today but idk if I will get any time to hunt... had to be at work after long weekend. :girlcry:
